Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: October 12, 2026
Get AI Room Design is for redesigning rooms and house fronts from your own photos. This policy covers everything you upload, the choices you make in the tool, and every image made here. It is part of our Terms of Service.
Images are made with OpenAI's GPT Image 2.5 model, which we run through fal.ai. Get AI Room Design is an independent service, not affiliated with OpenAI.
1. Six kinds of images we don't make
- Pornography and NSFW content. Nudity, sex, or sexual or sexually suggestive images of anyone, real or made up.
- Violence and gore. Graphic injury, blood, mutilation, torture or death, and images that promote violence, terrorism, self-harm or suicide.
- Hate speech. Images that attack, demean or threaten people for their race, ethnicity, religion, nationality, gender, sexual orientation, disability or other protected traits, including hate symbols.
- Child-unsafe content (CSAM). Anything that sexualizes a minor, or shows a minor in a sexual, abusive or exploitative way. No exceptions, ever.
- Deepfakes and impersonation. Face swaps; combining photos of different real people into one picture, such as a couple photo or a family portrait made from separate photos; putting a real person's face or body into an image they didn't agree to; making a real person appear to do or say something they didn't; pretending to be a real person, brand or organization; images of politicians and celebrities.
- Copyright and trademark infringement. Other people's characters, artwork, photos, logos or brands that you have no right to use, and counterfeit products.
Also not allowed:
- Uploading photos of other people without their permission, or of children you aren't a parent or guardian of.
- Fake documents, IDs, receipts, or anything else meant to deceive or defraud.
- Passing off an AI image as a real photo to mislead people.
- Trying to get around our checks, for example by rewording a blocked prompt to get the same picture.
- Anything illegal where you live.
2. Zero tolerance
Child-unsafe content, sexual deepfakes of real people, and content that promotes terrorism or mass violence lead to an immediate permanent ban, and to a report to the authorities where the law requires it.
3. How every image is checked
Every request goes through these steps. If any of them says no, nothing is made and no credits are used.
- Your prompt, before anything is made. It is checked twice, in this order: against our own list of blocked words and phrases (nudity, minors, violence, self-harm, hate, deepfakes and public figures, protected characters, brands and logos), which we keep updating from the reports and records we review; and by Prompt Sift, the content-safety check for AI images from Waffo, our payment provider. If Prompt Sift can't give a clear verdict in time (it doesn't answer, or says it can't check right now), it is skipped and the other checks here still decide.
- Your own words, before anything is made. When you describe the change yourself (Custom), a small AI model also reads your words and says whether they only change how the room, house or yard looks. Words that ask for anything else, such as people, text or another kind of picture, or that would move walls, windows, doors or the camera, are turned down, and nothing is made or charged.
- Your photos, before they reach a model. Every photo you attach goes through an automated image check for nudity and sexual content.
- What your photo shows. A small AI model looks at each photo, one you upload or a design you restyle again, and says whether it shows a room, the outside of a house or other building, or a yard or garden. Anything else, such as a document, an ID, a screenshot or a selfie, is turned down, and nothing is made or charged.
- The model itself. OpenAI's model refuses many unsafe requests on its own, and we keep fal's own safety check on.
- The result, before you see it. Every image goes through the same automated image check before it is saved or shown. One that fails is not kept or shown, and its credits are given back. A design made from your own words also goes through a second AI check: one that shows a person, readable writing, or anything but a room, a house or a yard is not kept either, and its credits are given back.
We keep a record of every content check (on the prompt, the photo and the result): when, which account, which check, and what it decided, along with the decisions we make by hand on reports. For the room check and the check on your own words we count, each day, what was turned down and why, and a design turned down after it was made keeps its reason in our records. We don't keep the images that fail: a result that fails is never saved, and an uploaded photo that fails is deleted. We review these records and every report, and use them to update our list of blocked words.
Every image made here is AI-generated, and the tool says so next to each result.
4. Report an image
If you see an image made with Get AI Room Design that breaks this policy, or a picture of you that you didn't agree to, email support@getairoomdesign.com with a link to the image or a description of it. A person reads every report.
- We reply within 2 business days, and within 24 hours for anything involving a child.
- If the image breaks this policy, we delete it and act on the account (see below).
- We keep the name of whoever reported it private.
5. What happens if you break it
